As a prominent farm on arable land in the East Riding of Yorkshire, the owners were concerned about the rising cost of electricity but had heard of using solar PV as a solution. They were recommended by another farmer to get in touch with Duncan Renewables.

Following an in-depth technical survey of the site, the installation went ahead on a south-facing barn roof. This was a 38.4kW system. This system used 3 SMA transformerless inverters, a new technology at the time showing Duncan Renewables’ dedication to using industry-leading suppliers.
