Heck! Foods manufacture sausages that are sold throughout main retailers in the UK. As a family business, sustainability has always been a key focus and they have adopted methods such as vertical farming to lower their carbon footprint. In 2024 Heck decided to further their sustainability plans by integrating a solar PV system. Not only will this greatly reduce their operational costs but will also reduce their CO2 emissions.

We installed 433 panels across 4 different elevations on the large sausage factory. With such a complex installation meticulous planning was required right from the start to ensure the project ran smoothly throughout, resulting in the project finishing on time with no disruption to the daily operations. The completed project left this family-owned business proud to drive toward a more sustainable future.
