Barker Chickens is a North Yorkshire farm group that specialises in raising poultry. As with raising livestock, there is a large demand for electricity for heating, lighting and other activities. Operating over several farms brings further challenges to controlling the cost of energy required to run multiple facilities.

SOLUTION
After a series of surveys, Barker Chickens decided to proceed with a 50kW solar PV system, roof-mounted on a south-facing building at their Cramble Cross farm. Following our outstanding service delivery, they went on to install another ground-mounted system at Cramble Cross and 2 further systems with us at their Whitwell farm, totalling over 80kW of solar across both sites.
