Welcome to Duncan Renewables
Duncan Renewables is a division of Duncan Plumbing Heating and Electrics, which has been serving domestic, commercial and community clients throughout Yorkshire for the past 20 years, and installing renewable energy systems for more than 15 years. In the rapidly growing renewable energy field, Duncan is a name you can trust.
Since 2010 we have installed well over 5 megawatts of Solar PV, with more than 500 individual systems and some of the largest installations in the North of England. Some of our work includes a 245kWp system at The Great Yorkshire Showground, 50kWp systems at Wetherby, Thirsk and Redcar Racecourses, a 50kWp system at Martin House Children’s Hospice, as well as many other large-scale agricultural and commercial installations (see our Case Study section for a comprehensive portfolio of the work we have completed).
With the introduction of the Renewable Heat Premium Payment and Renewable Heat Incentive in 2011, Duncan Renewables is now able to provide customers with an even broader range of financially attractive green technologies at both a domestic and commercial level including Biomass, Solar Thermal, and Heat Pumps.
We have already installed a number of large scale Biomass heating systems allowing customers to save money on their heating bills AND receive generous Renewable Heat Incentive payments.
With returns on investment typically around 20%, we already have many more biomass installations in the pipeline. We are expecting great things from this new and exciting renewable heat technology.
