Harelands Courtyard Offices, Richmond
Harelands Courtyard is a stunning rural development offering environmentally friendly office space in Melsonby, only 5 minutes from Richmond. The suites are marketed as top quality, cost effective working spaces with a very low impact on the environment. Their green credentials are bolstered by the installation of a 50kW on-roof solar PV array and a 100kW Guntamatic biomass district heating system feeding the workshops and offices. These measures enabled the owners to move away from inefficient electric heating. Duncan Renewables also applied for, and was granted, Planning Permission for another 160kW ground mount PV which will be installed Spring 2014. The Solar PV systems, coupled with the Wind Turbine, should almost entirely negate grid import electricity consumption / costs.
“From acceptance to completion of my biomass and solar system, I have been highly impressed by the professionalism and quality of service given by the Duncan Renewables team. After being given several quotes by other companies, Stuart and Mark Duncan ensured that my every question was answered; prompt answering of the telephone when I had a query was a distinct and noticeable bonus to their service, also their vast previous installation experience.
In addition, they provided me with a top quality boiler and back up that was unrivalled. Wireless 24 hour monitoring of the system ensures that the system runs efficiently and without hiccup, along with the added bonus of a 5 year warranty. Peter and Liam, who ran the project seamlessly, are a credit to the company ensuring customer satisfaction was top priority.
The solar team were highly aware of potential disturbances of tenants during office hours. Members of the team were always neatly presented and friendly. I therefore would highly recommend the services provided by Duncan Renewables and would like to extend my sincere thanks to the team for your excellent service. I look forward to future dealings with Stuart and Mark at Hareland Courtyard Offices.” Barry Pittaway
