Changes to Feed-in-Tariffs Announced!

Ofgem have announced changes to Feed-in Tariff rates (FiT) for solar photovoltaic (PV) installations which will commence from 1st January 2014.

After all tariff rates were fixed during the current quarter (1st October 2013-1st January 2014), FiT rates for installations >50kW will be decreased by 3.5% across the board in the New Year. The smaller tariff bands will remain unaffected by tariff rate degressions.

The new Feed-in Tariff rates are as follows:

The new FiT rates will apply from 1st January 2014 until at least 1st April 2014.
