Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show - We'll be there!

Yorkshire’s first ever multi-farm machinery manufacturer and dealership event will be held at York Auction Centre on Wednesday 5th February from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The Show will have over 80 exhibitors and will feature:

- Agricultural & Groundcare machinery, 4×4 – Precision Land Management – Trailers, Tractors, Handlers, Vehicles – Renewables and supplies

Duncan Renewables will be exhibiting at the LAMMA Show at the East of England Showground, Peterborough on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd January.

LAMMA is the UK’s largest farm machinery, equipment and agricultural services show. It is free to attend and regularly attracts up to 40,000 farmers from around the country and overseas. LAMMA has become the largest UK agricultural equipment show and is increasingly becoming an international event.

Do make sure you pay us a visit as our Renewables Team will be on hand to discuss a range of technologies including biomass, biomass fuel, solar PV, solar thermal as well as the latest on the relevant Renewable Heat Incentive and Feed-in Tariff schemes.

LAMMA - First show of the year!

Duncan Renewables will be exhibiting at the LAMMA Show at the East of England Showground, Peterborough on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd January.

LAMMA is the UK’s largest farm machinery, equipment and agricultural services show. It is free to attend and regularly attracts up to 40,000 farmers from around the country and overseas.

If you haven’t heard of LAMMA – it was established in 1982 by a small group of local agricultural equipment manufacturers from across Lincolnshire with the first event attracting 50 exhibitors and 2,500 visiting farmers, contractors and agricultural engineers attended. By 2012, the Show had grown to nearly 800 exhibitors, with in excess of 40,000 attendees; LAMMA had become the largest UK agricultural equipment show and was increasingly becoming an international event.

Do come and see us as it’s an easy to attend event for farmers to see the latest agricultural machinery, equipment and services from around the world. Improvements to the Green Deal Announced – DECC 02/12/13

As part of the Energy Bills announcements earlier this week, the government outlined proposed changes to the Green Deal. This is to make the Green Deal more attractive for consumers and to remove unnecessary cost for companies.

Over 100,000 Green Deal assessments have been undertaken since January, with research suggesting that action to improve energy efficiency is being undertaken in over 80% of those households assessed. As promising as these figures are, the government are still looking to boost interest in the Green Deal with homeowners with the following measures;
• Introducing a new on-line tool that will give consumers straightforward advice on the steps they can take to improve the energy efficiency of their homes.
• Improving the Green Deal Advice Report by making it clearer and easier to understand.
• Giving consumers better signposting to the companies that can provide the services they want.

Commercial RHI Tariffs fixed until 1st April 2014 – DECC (29/11/13)

The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) have announced that there will be no reduction in any of the Commercial RHI Tariff categories until April 2014.

As a consequence of the quarterly Commercial RHI scheme assessments published by DECC, tariffs are to remain fixed at the rates shown below:
